Interview with Dave Spinks & Kristin Lee

Today I’m welcoming Dave Spinks and Kristin Lee who are here to tell us about their exciting upcoming convention, Society of Supernatural! Thank you, Dave and Kristin for stopping by!

Can you tell us a little about yourself?

Dave:  I’m a military veteran of 9 years and retired federal law enforcement officer. I’ve been investigating and researching all aspects of the paranormal for over 30 years. I have recently delved into writing. I have a lot of experiences and knowledge over these many years of investigating strange phenomena and I feel it’s time to put it to paper.

Kristin:  My name is Kristin Lee. I’m the founder and owner of the Bellaire House Paranormal Research Center, coined Bellaire House Tours, LLC. I work in the metaphysical field and also work with a large supernatural community whom collect paranormal data at the Bellaire House.

Why the paranormal?

Dave:  Well the paranormal really changed my life due to several experiences I had as a young man, starting with a Bigfoot sighting I had in 1983 with my grandfather.

Kristin:  I fell on hard times when my home was destroyed by two flash floods, leaving me homeless with two kids. I found the Bellaire House on a foreclosed list, I put in a bid to purchase the home, the bank accepted it and we moved in shortly after. It wasn’t long before I started noticing paranormal activity; but I blamed psychology from the flood, being over worked and the stress of rebuilding a life for my family until there was no more psychological explanations. I’m interested in afterlife communication, and collecting paranormal data to prove or disprove there is something more than what a conservative middle class society taught me. There are things that I’m unable to explain, unexplainable things not only I, but many who gather with me, can’t explain either. There are so many profound things that add up if you pay attention – it’s like I’m being spiritually led. I think the most important thing I’ve learned from this metaphysical/paranormal research is that there are no coincidences.

You’re a paranormal investigator. What kind of locations do you investigate and what’s been the scariest one so far?

Dave:  Yes, well I investigate residential locations as well as commercial locations. However, I investigate hauntings, cryptids and ufo sightings anything in the supernatural realm is game for me because I feel a lot of it, maybe interconnected. I really don’t have a scariest location, each one is different and many have been unnerving in their own way.

You’re an author, metaphysician and owner of the Bellaire House, a location known for its paranormal activity. Tell us a little about its haunted history.

Kristin: The land is part of the French and Indian war, there are Shawnee caves on the property for the mid 1700’s; we have heard others locals say their elders told them that the Shawnee held ceremonies behind the Bellaire House. Bellaire is known for “the house that jack built.” Which was built and owned by a hard working coal mine tycoon named Jacob Heatheringon, we have proven the Bellaire House to part of Jacob Heatheringtons land, as well as the Bellaire House was part of Jacobs family – his son Alex and granddaughter Lyde took over the coal company when Jacob died. We have recently learned Alex was committed to a lunatic asylum when the business failed, leaving Lyde,  who died in the house from heart problems owner of the land. Her brother Edwin lived inside the Bellaire House with Lyde, but when Lyde died, Edwin became struck with grief and called upon spiritualist’s to come to the Bellaire House so he could communicate with Lyde. We also learned that Edwin lost a twin sister at a tender young age of his human development, which may have triggered him to  question the afterlife when he was a child. We have heard rumors that the water was poisoned by a local man because his wife wanted to live in the Bellaire House but the family would not sell it. Jim Chase who is a former code enforcer, found maps that show catacombs, leaving a passage for freedom for the Underground Railroad to the Ohio River. There is documentation of a coal mine fire in portal 1, which Jacob Heatherington spent $8k to extinguish in the 1800’s. We have identified Jacob as being a leader of the Good Fellows, and holding private meeting in the lower chamber of his home. In front of the House is the Ohio River which coincides with leyline that create portals or doorways to the paranormal. We have recently discovered very strong correlations to the Heatheringtons physical & psychological well being. Historically the house has had many owners as well as those who lived there as renters. The Bellaire House houses positive energy aside from some of the TV rating dramatic’s, but then the other side of the Bellaire House is not positive & it can be dangerous, some people call this demonic- so the Bellaire House crew works hard to keep the energy neutralized to try to be proactive against negative energy. We have had many teams come to investigate the Bellaire House for definitive paranormal activity, and most have gathered some very profound & unexplainable video data, concluding paranormal activity does exist. It has taken us thirteen years to gather data to be able to say that paranormal activity exists. Our next research is trying to learn how the activity manifests.

Together you both are working on an exciting upcoming event, Society of Supernatural.

Dave, can you tell everyone when the event will take place and how people can get tickets? And also, what’s the itinerary for the day of the event?

Dave:  Yes, the first Society of the Supernatural Convention will be taking place on June 16th from 11 am to 6pm, at the wheeling island casino and resort in wheeling WV. There will be guest speakers , To include John Zaffis , Rosemary Ellen Guiley , our own David Weatherly, Myself , Kristin Lee, Ross Allison, Sean Austin. Also appearing Stan Gordon, Eric Altman. There will be many meta physical people, psychics doing readings haunted location owners and people who run the locations to include Willows Weep, Bellaire House Octagon Hall, Kusciosko County Jail, Guyer Opera house and more. Several paranormal radio shows, paranormal groups of all kinds. Also, after the event is over Sean Austin Will be performing live music at the venue . You can get tickets to the event by going to the Bellaire house facebook page , go into the events page and find the conference page. You can also buy tickets at the door.

Kristin, the day before the event there will be a “Meet & Greet”. Can you tell everyone about that? And where will the “Meet & Greet” take place?

Kristin:  Dave called me one afternoon and asked me to help him coordinate a supernatural gathering in Wheeling, WV. We say supernatural because we wanted to not limit ourselves just to paranormal. We believe that all unexplained should be considered “supernatural” because we work with so many people in the field who are not just paranormal investigators. We also wanted to open the conference up various people who work as metaphysicians, psychic’s, cryptozoology, ufology, hauntings, paranormal, demonology, authors, location owners, teams of researchers, and healers. We also wanted to gather together with like minded people to share our work & start building a strong network of rapport with our peers. In the past I coordinated psychic fairs at the Wheeling Island Casino, Wheeling, WV, so I suggested to Dave we start the conference there. David Weatherly & Spinks asked me to join the Society of the Supernatural, (SOS) because of my work and experiences from the Bellaire House & we have other members of the SOS spread across the world.
Friday night is a private meet & greet at the Bellaire House with the speakers of the convention, plus we will also be holding a small & intimate Investigation at the Bellaire House with the speakers of the conventions. We opened up a six VIP tickets for guests to join us. Info for VIP tickets is in the website. thebellairehouse.webs.com. Meet & greet is 6pm-8pm and then the Investigation is 8pm-12am – we have an early morning and a very long day on Saturday.

This is the first one of many to come. What’s the inspiration behind creating the event, Society of Supernatural?

Dave:  The inspiration for the event is to bring together like minded people in the field to network with one another, share stories and experiences swap information . It is also focusing on people who live this life for real, people who have a genuine passion for the research and in the search for answers to some of man’s greatest questions.
David Weatherly and myself created Society of the Supernatural 4 years ago with some of these ideals in mind and its starting to take shape and grow on its own.

Where can paranormal enthusiasts find all the exciting updates for Society of Supernatural?

Kristin:  https://www.facebook.com/events/151392812209947??ti=ia

Or thebellairehouse.webs.com

Anything else you’d like to include about the fun-filled event?

Dave:  If you love the Supernatural realm you won’t want to miss this one! We’d love to meet each and every one of you and hear your stories and experiences. See you there!

Kristin:  We have 15 vending tables available at $50 per table. We provide an 8 foot table and chairs. There is an application that needs to be submitted for vendors simply to keep the type of vendors even- we want to keep things fair as possible & not have a overflow of specific vendors. We have capes 2-3 vendors per category to keep the event balanced. VIP meet & Greet tickets are going fast. Lodging for the event is at the Wheeling Island Casino Hotel. Saturday after the convention we will remain in the show room for a public after hours party where Sean Austin will be playing music.

Kristin: It is said by many locals of Bellaire that Jacob had this monument of Eliza placed at Greenwood cemetery with her back turned against Bellaire because of how the locals disrespected her. Jacob built the mansion for Eliza so she would feel acceptance by the village of Bellaire, but when he held parties the locals still shunned her. Eliza was a faithful Christian Women who taught Jacob to read by using the Bible. However, she followed in her mother’s footsteps and worked as a bar maid and cook. Back then, people frowned on women working in a pub. Non true rumors state Eliza is holding a spell book, but she is holding the Bible as she stood firm of the gospel of Christ.

Kristin: In March of 2017 after we aired on TV, we received so much attention someone decided to buy the bankruptcy note to the Bellaire House and hung $50k over our heads to keep it. After months of fighting with the persons who bought the bankruptcy note, we were able to get them to lower the debt to $35k and that was when we brought in Jon Campbell as our business partner. We raised money for the cause of saving the Bellaire House, and the debt pushed back the restoration of the Bellaire House, but we saved it thanks to Jon Campbell.

As far as we knew I had filed the bankruptcy, walked away to start a new life. Jim Chase, the code enforcer at the time called me and told me I was responsible for the property, the upkeep and I owned it and my name was on the deed still. Once we aired, a mortgage company contacted me demanding payment for the bank note and when they called that was when we found out the bank never foreclosed the properly. Years had gone by and I had been keeping up on the property, taxes and everything that goes along with it until I received the call demanding payment- that’s where John Campbell asked to become a partner to help save the house.

Kristin: Many local people have called Kristin a fraud and liar about the Bellaire House, some locals don’t believe in the paranormal and have gone beyond disrespecting Kristin Lee as they once did to Eliza Heatherington. It’s a shame that if anyone dares to be different in Bellaire the uneducated pitchforks point to the sky by the hands of some very cruel people. This is proof that the Bellaire House is a historical location, and Jacob A Heatherington was a resident. The family is large so historical data is a on going process by Rebecca Star Garden.

Kristin: The fire 1893. Coal mine portal #1 is currently visible, which proves the fire under the Bellaire House, and the coal mine portal runs from Pinch Run to St.Johns Catholic school.

Kristin: Alex Heatheringtons commitment records found by Rebecca Star Gardner.

Kristin:  We have extended the convention hours due to the great amount of interest & para community support. The convention will be 11am-9:30pm. Vendors need to be present to set up at 8am and be ready for the doors to open at 11am. The scheduled speakers will be present at the Bellaire House Friday, June 15 for the VIP private meet & greet/Investigation and are scheduled to speak at the convention during the following times:

Interview with Executive Producer, Christopher Garetano

Today I’m welcoming Christopher Garetano, the executive producer, director of re creation and co-host of the History Channel’s phenomenal new television series, The Dark Files! Thank you, Christopher for stopping by!

Can you tell us a little about yourself?

Here’s the short version: 🙂

I was born in Huntington, New York and I spent most of my childhood living just outside of a small harbor village called Northport, NY.
That area has many traditional small-town charms but there were a few local ghost stories that haunted us as well and there were others that made national and world news that were terrifying to me.
Regardless of how it might appear on the surface, sometimes pure evil hides in the shadows of small-town America. It lurks amongst the summer fairs and fall festivals, in the churches and schools, the forests and in suburban homes.
The seasons are well defined in that part of the country and each one has its own mystery.
I think it’s why I can relate so well to the works of Rod Serling and Stephen King because my small town experience could have been one of their stories.
You don’t realize, when you’re living in it, how bizarre it truly is. It’s not until you’ve had ample time to reflect on the past and that’s when it fully revealed itself to me.
I grew up in a place that was rich with atmosphere and I always had a sense of wonder and discovery.
I was crazy about mysteries and paranormal stories even before I was determined to make movies. I frequented book fairs and the local library when I was a kid. I collected books on BIGFOOT, UFO abductions, monster legends and hauntings.
There is also a geographical and even a historical beauty about Long Island.
It’s a variety unbeknownst to most of the world. There were Spielbergian type communities with town gatherings and seasonal festivals but there was also the “Say You Love Satan” murder, The Amityville Horror, and The Montauk Project right around the corner.

When I was a kid those local tales gave me many nightmares and further fueled my imagination.
I also had a few family ghost stories that stayed with me and couple of profound paranormal experiences.

I lived in New York City during my late teens and early twenties. I really grew up there.
I worked at a video store on Park Avenue and I went to film school while living in the city.
I loved music (punk and heavy metal mostly) and movies and art.
I later became obsessed with jazz, synth based music, and motion pictures scores.
I love my physical collection of vinyl records, books, and movies.

I couldn’t imagine my childhood being glued to an IPAD or a PlayStation.
There’s a lot lost with the digital format of everything. That tactile experience is gone if all you have is a collection of files.
I’m grateful that the download-technology didn’t exist back then.
What can and should be explored for a young child and an adolescent, during those formative years, are precious and infinite. We played outside all of the time and I know that helped shape me as a person; those early adventures.

I don’t live in New York currently but I love exploring new places.
I lived in Michigan for a couple of years and I’m currently in Florida.
The reason why I work so hard these days is to remain in that creative place, full-time.
I had to develop a good business sense to keep the artist in me safe and alive.
Movie making is such “an expensive paint box”, as Orson Welles said.
There’s no other way in life for someone like me. I need to do this.
I wasn’t born with a trust-fund or connections in the movie industry, so to survive I had to find a way to make things work and that’s really just trying to remain unique and creative.
I feel alive when I’m working on a movie.
Movie making encompasses a variety of wonderful art forms, so I feel like it’s the ultimate celebration of art.
I feel such a purpose in life with it.
During that dark period, in my late teens and early twenties, I had a few unfortunate brushes with death and some dangerous situations also found me.
I decided a while back it was either “get busy living or get busy dying.”
As a result, I’m in a place now where I’m spiritually and physically sober (and have been for years) so I can experience life without any interference.
I spent some of my youth romancing death and taking frivolous risks and I simply don’t feel that way anymore. That’s a distant memory.
I have no interest in anything but being alive and loving life.
I’m a temporary visitor on this planet so I want to experience as much as I can. I love life and I want to live as long as I can.
You cannot acquire true experience from just ingesting movies and books and pop culture so I do spend as much time as possible venturing out and experiencing this life.

What made you want to become a filmmaker?

It had a lot to do with a exposure to various movies and TV programs that just lit up young mind. It was just the right time and some of the greatest motion pictures ever were brand new at that time. It was overload. They filled that impressionable zone in my imagination.
Everything from Alien, Jaws, Blade Runner, Dawn Of The Dead and John Carpenter’s The Thing to Raiders Of The Lost Ark and the original Star Wars trilogy. They were all relatively new and brand new at the time. There’s just too many classics to list here but, my god, am I grateful to have been a kid at that time. It’s an ethos that’s popular again right now and I think it’s important to examine why that decade of culture is so strong.
My family would always tell stories during gatherings and late night talks, so observing that helped a lot.
I saw a lot of good and bad when I was a child so life experience added to it. I had my own stories to tell.
I should give some formative credit to playing with action figures in the early eighties. They had these incredibly well-established characters with starkly defined roles of good and evil.
There was a profound story for them all.
I’m convinced that this was an amazing early tool for imagining, designing and blocking scenes.

I was also an outdoors kid, so I was outside and in nature all of the time. We went camping quite a bit. I remember running around barefoot all summer long, catching fireflies at dusk. My eyes were exposed to so many colors and textures, constantly.
But there were a few things in particular that I know made me want to make movies.
My parents owned a small video store in the eighties so I saw every movie.
I loved horror films mostly and I still love them; at least the very few good ones that are made each year.
My folks would take us to the Drive-In and the indoor movie theater a lot too.
One Halloween my father had a Frankenstein’s Monster Makeup Kit. He was applying the gelatin sections to his face and I was fixated while he was transforming into the monster right before my eyes.
So I later saw the making of Michael Jackson’s Thriller with the mighty Rick Baker (special effects wizard) transforming Jackson into a werewolf. There was also a documentary titled Scream Greats: Volume one. It was a Fangoria Magazine video about Tom Savini ( a horror renaissance man) and once I learned about him I was obsessed with becoming a special effects makeup artist as well as a filmmaker.
I later went to film school at The School Of Visual Arts, in New York City. I was there that I was introduced to an endless collection of independent movies and world cinema.

Tell us about your documentary, The Montauk Chronicles.

Montauk Chronicles is mainly a character study and it’s also an independent investigation of several gentlemen who claim that they were participants in a bizarre secret government experiment. They say that between 1971 and 1983 there was a covert program that occurred deep beneath the Camp Hero Air Force station in Montauk, New York, and that young runaway teen boys were kidnapped and brought to a secret facility to be put through a series of brutal mind control experiments.
The men (Preston Nichols, Alfred Bielek, Stewart Swerdlow and James Bruce) all claim that they were a crucial part of training the boys in psychic warfare as well as programming their minds to be triggered later on for assassination missions. In Jame’s Bruces Swerdlow’s case, they claim to have been the recruited boys.
In addition to the mind control experiments it is said that they were used as human crash test dummies for time travel and interstellar travel experiments, and all of the men claim that the technology was reverse engineered from extraterrestrials.
I began making the movie back in 2006. This wasn’t a very popular story back then.
It wasn’t until after Huffington Post / AOL NEWS did an article an interview with me in 09 that I noticed people really started to become interested.
That article went out to a lot of people and they showed my early trailers with it.
That was the first time anyone really saw an adaptation of those tales in a cinematic form.
Later, the story inspired the hit NETFLIX show Stranger Things.
The original title of their show was “MONTAUK.”
I made two movies actually. I finished the first one in late 2011 and I wasn’t very happy with it.
I started all over again in 2013. I finished it in early 2015 and that’s the movie that is out there right now.
I wanted to combine cinema and powerful interviews.
I wrote, produced, photographed, edited and directed the movie.
I also created the live and post visual effects and designed and edited the sound.
I feel that The Montauk Project is a horror story so my movie is quite bleak at times.

It was a huge project to take on but I’m happy with it and it seems to have a new life every week.
It led to my History Channel show (The Dark Files) and many other things so I’m grateful that I stuck it out and I’m grateful for the few folks that were dedicated to helping me make the movie.

What would you say to the skeptics out there who may question your research?

I would tell them to please just simply look into it all. You must conduct some of your own research, even beyond Youtube, Google and Wikipedia.
Before you make any judgment call (on this story) you shouldn’t ignore the factual information that’s available about similar cases.
As part of my own research, I personally traveled to and I interviewed all of the men telling the tales. I spent a considerable amount of time at Camp Hero and at Montauk. I searched through the Montauk library archives and asked a lot of questions. I talked to the locals as well.
These secret programs aren’t fiction.
There are so many factual accounts like the Holmsburg Prison experiments and MK ULTRA that prove a great deal of what I’ve discovered is true and has happened in other locations.
So the more you research the more this story becomes less science fiction and more of something to be afraid of.

You have an amazing television series titled, The Dark Files that’s now on The History Channel. What is this exciting new series about and when will viewers be able to tune in?

I’m an executive producer, director of re creations and co-host of the Dark Files. It’s a two hour continuation of my investigation Of Camp Hero, that began in Montauk Chronicles.
I return to Montauk with my co-hosts Barry Eisler (author and an Ex CIA agent) and Steve Volk a writer and an investigative reporter. We conducted a true investigation that included a full site exploration with geophysicists and scientific equipment that wasn’t available to me before.
We also returned to all of the major witnesses and alleged whistle blowers for new interviews.
I truly love the show and I think between Montauk Chronicles and The Dark Files there is nothing better on the subject.
What we found is the bridge between fiction and fact. I’m convinced that we found something that is now the foundation to securing proof that The Montauk Project did happen. I believe at least that it was a secret mind control experiment.

The premiere on September 8th, for The Dark Files, was a strong open.
Even though we had this monster hurricane (IRMA) on its way, we still rated very well.
The weather channels and new stations dominated the ratings for the weekend.
That threw things off for everyone on TV.
Regardless of all of the above we still rated well, so right now History Channel is planning an additional October premiere and they’re going to test it, hurricane free.
After that the plan is, as long as it still rates well, we’re going right into the full series.
It’s a necessary process considering the amount of money and time that goes into making an entire series.
I’m excited and I trust that there will be many more Dark Files.

Where can fans follow you and your work?

They can check-in with me and find my work on my website www.montauckhronicles.com, Facebook, Instagram, and on my Youtube channel GARETANO7

Aside from The Dark Files, what else does Christopher Garetano have planned?

I’m working on a bunch of things that I’m really excited about. I’ve been crafting the ultimate BIGFOOT movie for a while. It’s a really a perspective on the beloved cryptid that not many have considered.
Our country was forged in war, violence and genocide and I suspect part of the creature/species elusive behavior is a result of what they may have witnessed, looking out at us from the forest.
There are so many noteworthy books on the BIGFOOT subject but nothing really to speak of in a decades worth of movies and TV.
I’m crafting a movie of timeless stories, mystery, eyewitness accounts and a very spooky atmosphere. I want the audience to feel like they’re in the forest alone at night and the creature is moving nearby in the darkness.
It’s important to bring the audience into its world and out of our own.
There were a few programs worth remembering like In Search Of (With Leonard Nimoy) but it seems that modern TV programs tend to lose focus on the proper mystery and atmosphere for Sasquatch stories, and I want to bring that back.
My goal is not to necessarily find BIGFOOT or but to examine its history as a collection of incredibly rich stories.
I’ll be back to work on BIGFOOT in the spring of 2018. It’s just such an enormous project that needs a little more for the production. I’m going to take advantage of the many doors that have been opening lately and make this the right way.
I’m also working on a few more TV projects. One of them is a fictional tale (a dark Science Fiction story) that I wrote and will direct for Television.
Another is my first independent horror movie and I’ve already shot various pieces of it.
It’s a macabre story of witchcraft and a family house that’s haunted by an ancient energy.
I don’t want to say too much more about it right now but I promise it will be a unique take on all of the above.

Any words of wisdom you’d care to share?

Just be thankful. Be grateful. It’s all a gift. This entire experience is a gift.
Some of my most painful and excruciating moments were followed by me making a point to be grateful, before I fell asleep that night. Of whom or what you should be grateful to is entirely up to you.

Men In Black

“Here come the men in black, the galaxy defenders……” ok, no worries, I’m not going to start singing the song. I’m sure Will Smith wouldn’t approve and luckily for you, by reading this, you’re not tortured by hearing my unmelodious voice. 😉 And I’m not here to talk about the hit film starring the very talented Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones. However, I am a huge fan of their movies!

BUT……. I am talking about the supposedly real-life individuals known as the “Men In Black” (MIBs). Just like the Hollywood portrayals, these non-fictitious characters primarily wear black suits, white button-up shirts and black ties. They are reportedly some sort of secret organization that has been obviously denied by certain officials. It’s been said that the mysterious Men In Black appear anytime UFO sightings have been experienced. Why? Possible cover-up involvement? To insure that UFO witnesses remain quiet about what they have seen? By intimidating and threatening those who dare to speak publicly about any sort of UFO interactions?

Throughout recent decades, many supporters/investigators of ufology have supposedly been harassed and some have even died by mysterious causes. Are the MIBs to blame for all of this misfortune? Who knows?? It’s also alleged that the Men In Black have taped and recorded UFO hunters’ phones.

I personally have never experienced anything like this nor have I seen an alien or UFO (Unidentified Flying Object) of any kind. I’ve only witnessed shadow people, clairaudient experiences, touched by spirits and other paranormal encounters similar to those, but never aliens. I do know people who have claimed to have seen visitors from other planets, but none of them have ever told me about any visitors from the “Men In Black”.

So, do these well-dressed individuals actually exist or….??? I wouldn’t wanna find out…….

The X-Files Revival

Do you love The X-Files? Without a doubt, I’m a HUGE fan! I honestly don’t think there was ever an episode that I didn’t watch. Fox Mulder paired up with Dana Scully was absolutely brilliant! Together, they created an undeniable balance, Scully with her scientific reasoning and Mulder with his open-minded desire to search for the unknown.

One of my all time fave episodes was the sixth one from season six titled, How The Ghosts Stole Christmas with Lily Tomlin and Ed Asner. It aired on December 13, 1998. Here’s the IMDb link describing it, so check it out…. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0751138/

And for those of you who are X-Files fans, I’m sure you’re just as excited as I am about this Sunday night when The X-Files returns. The X-Files Revival is definitely one I will not miss. In fact, my DVR is ready and waiting to record each episode of this much anticipated mini series.

Recently I was asked by Kevin Hale, host and producer of BlogTalkRadio’s Shooting From The Lip to co-host with him for a very special show. Our guest was Chris Elias, administrator of The X-Files Group on Facebook. An extremely impressive group with well over 14,000 members. The show aired this past Wednesday night at 10pm E/ 7pm P. Topic of discussion? The X-Files Revival, of course! And here is the link so you can listen to it as well… https://soundcloud.com/423radio/sftl-110-the-x-files-revival-preview-chris-elias

Be sure to join us every Wednesday night, same time throughout the entire airing of The X-Files mini series as we discuss the exciting continuation!

Interview with Dr. Barry Taff

Dr. Barry Taff is a renowned parapsychologist that I have had the privilege to interview via telephone a while back. The reason why I’m just now publishing his interview is because I didn’t want to do so until I finished reading his book, Aliens Above, Ghosts Below.

First off, before I continue, I’d like to share with you the interesting bio that Dr. Taff has shared with me. Not only does it give a brief description of this esteemed intellectual, it also describes the many different media personalities and agencies that have trusted Dr. Taff’s highly regarded research and skills.

Aside from Dr. Taff’s research in parapsychology, he also has patented medical devices. He has asked me to share with you the article that he has written in regards to the subject, Energy Medicine: Selling A Car To A Caveman. Here is where Dr. Taff’s article can be found, https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/20140626172738-85610322-energy-medicine-selling-a-car-to-a-caveman?trk=prof-post

As I mentioned earlier, I didn’t want to publish Dr. Taff’s interview until I finished reading his book, Aliens Above, Ghosts Below. His book is extremely informative and insightful. I definitely recommend anyone to grab a copy. It is well written with great documentation from a true parapsychologist, Dr. Barry Taff, that has well over forty years experience in the field. Aliens Above, Ghosts Below brings more awareness to ufology and the paranormal, nothing fabricated at all. In fact, what he describes is actually quite chilling.

Back in the early 1970’s, Dr. Taff investigated a case involving a young woman who was repeatedly attacked by an unseen terror. Later, a gentleman by the name of Frank De Felitta wrote a novel about the documented case titled, The Entity that was also adapted into a motion picture. As frightening as The Entity was, that wasn’t the only case where Dr. Taff investigated terrifying encounters of the paranormal. His forty plus years of research has put him up close and personal with some of the most horrific situations that would easily cause sleepless nights for many.

Dr. Barry Taff also has the extraordinary ability of ESP (Extra Sensory Perception). When I asked him what was it like living with this ability his reply was simple, “I don’t know of any other way of living. This is all I know.” He told me that his whole life he has been able to see afflictions in people. And that’s not all. He told me that when he was a little child sitting in the front seat of his parents’ car, he could tell exactly the model and year made of the vehicles passing by without any prior knowledge. When his parents asked how he knew those things, Dr. Taff told me that he would say, “I just know”. All his life he’s been able to “just know”  things. As impressive as that sounds, he said that there have been individuals who weren’t as receptive to his ability.

While on the phone with Dr. Taff, he even shared with me a passion of his….. fast cars.
He proudly told me that he used to race Porsches. “Wow!”, I thought. As Dr. Taff and I conversed, it was quite evident that he was extremely knowledgeable with an indisputable background. He mentioned several different articles like Legacy’s End, Learned Psi: Training To Be Psychic, Implicate Order By Design, Building A Warp Drive Engine, and Looking A Gift Ghost In The Mouth: The Science Of Poltergeists all which can be found on his website: http://barrytaff.net/

Dr. Barry Taff, someone with outstanding credentials and impressive research as a parapsychologist, is very down-to-earth. Conducting the interview with him was not only informative, but enjoyable as well. On a personal note, I feel that I have learned a great deal from all that he has shared!
