I really like these…even the “Demon” for I believe I saw a demon the night before my son’s death. I was driven to my daughter’s father’s friend’s house and they were watching the news. The sports came on and my son sat simply entranced by the television’s broadcasting…as I looked up, I saw a demonic face appear on the screen, all black don’t recall red eyes, but do recall the all dark and shadowy outline of a face. It told me “I want you.” Two days later, my journey and quest for knowledge began as they handcuffed me to the police station. It’s a bit scary to think about, so I don’t talk about it much. I try to fill my apartment with as much light and laughter as possible in order to break any dark overcasting clouds of fear…

I am so sorry about your loss. My heart goes out to you. And to see a demon like that must have been quite frightening. It’s wonderful that you keep your apartment filled with laughter and light. I believe in doing the same thing. It’s good for the soul. π Also, thank you so much for liking my poetry. I really appreciate it! π

Just purchased “The Spirit Within” for a review. I also am very impressed with your artwork and poetry. I started writing as a poet and songwriter. My mother is an artist, so I was always intimidated to pick up a paint brush as a kid. I’ve been doing watercolors for 20 years and started oils a couple of years ago with my 90-year-old mother giving me lessons. I love what you have done with combining your talents. I hope to have your review done immediately. My interest and intrigue in you as a multi-talented spiritualist, much like myself, is calling me to take your book ahead of others I have been asked to review. Shhh… our secret…

Wow, thank you so much. I am truly honored. I hope you enjoy reading The Spirit Within! Along with writing, painting is a beautiful form of expression. I think it’s wonderful that you and your mother share such an amazing talent together. What a special way to bond with family as well. π

great put up, very informative. I ponder why the opposite experts of this sector don’t understand this. You should continue your writing. I’m sure, you have a great readers’ base already!

Sheila,
What talent you have.. Poetry is what I write mostly however I am a ghostwriter of too much to say here … I am drawn to your work.. I have a microfiction with the exact title of your art.. The apparition.. These are all gorgeous works and the eternal kiss is just lovely.. My 16 ( near 16) year old daughter is an artist.. I so wish I could sketch or paint.. Amazing my friend! Caro β€

Ah, you’re also a poet. Art can be expressed in many different ways…. on canvas, sketch paper and in words. What a wondrous way to express oneself through the art of poetry. I can tell you have a lot of talent as well, Caro…. it’s where your daughter gets hers from. π

I like your poem Demon. We all deal with them at some point in our lives. Some we create some we encounter, Some we carry. But all can be defeated.

Dear Sheila,
Thank you very much for your like of my attempt at a self-portrait and for following my blog. I had a look at your poems and art work and was particularly impressed with the images for ‘doppelganger’ and the ‘eternal kiss’. The pictures have an elegant simplicity and seeming timelessness and the one of the kiss is very intimate and touching. Good luck with the reception of the novel and I hope you’ll be interested in reading and looking at the future offerings on my blog.
Suneel.

Aren’t Dopplergangers so fascinating? I’m seeing a lot more written about them at least film wise!

Hello, this is RJ from (silverscreenshadowplay.wordpress.com) thank you for following my Horror Film/artwork blog site. You’re creativity is real inspiring!!! I LOVE your Poem’s and artwork they have such feeling and depth!!! The concept of the DoppelgΓ€nger has been a major theme of Horror Books and Films since the beginning! The concept of duality is something that we all as human beings struggle with. The “choice” to choose is a heavy burden that we all must endure as long as we are physically on this beautiful planet we live on!!! Alright… enough of my nonsense! Your site is really inspiring…Keep it up!!!:)

Thank you for following my blog and reading “Guardian Angels.” I have been enjoying your beautiful artwork. I have had many unexplained incidents in my life saving me from some nastiness, so yes I do believe someone is watching over us, if we are lucky. In this case, I believe it is my Irish mother who passed away in 2002. I often feel her presence always unseen but not unheard.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I lost my father in 2010. Like your mother who you feel is always with you, I feel my father’s presence…. and it is very comforting! Our loved ones truly never leave us.
