“Rockin’ Out at Moss Rock Preserve & More!”

As you all know I am huge into the paranormal! I write about it, research it and have had more experiences than I can keep track of! So, with that being said, it’s extremely important to take a break from it all every once in a while.

This past weekend my family and I ventured out of town to attend my son’s football event in Hoover, Alabama. We’re proud supporters of his team!! “Go Foley Lions!!!” 😀

While we were there, my husband and I took time to do a little exploring at a phenomenal place called Moss Rock Preserve. It’s a preservation location full of trails, boulders and waterfalls. To say this place is breathtaking (to me) is an understatement! We absolutely love nature and to be able to visit Moss Rock Preserve was such a treat! We walked a portion of the trails, climbed some boulders and even squeezed between a couple of them! The weather was beautiful as the sun beamed from high above. And yes, we definitely took photos and some videos that you’ll find at the bottom of this article. You know I couldn’t miss the opportunity to tell you about the fun, I love sharing with you all! 🙂

On our way back home we detoured to Montevallo, Alabama, to pay respects to our fallen soldiers at Alabama National Cemetery. May they always be remembered, respected and loved!

After we left the cemetery, my husband and I discovered an amazing place called The American Village that’s also located in Montevallo, Alabama. Upon entering the historical site, we were both in a state of awe! It was literally as if we were travelling back in time. The replica buildings were just as they were back in the Revolutionary days, and we saw a couple of people dressed in period style clothing! Super cool!! Our cameras were constantly snapping photos as we walked around. There was even an actual wedding being held there, but of course we respectfully kept our distance from the private party.

So, if you guys are ever in Hoover, Alabama, be sure to check out Moss Rock Preserve and then venture a little bit south to Montevallo, Alabama, to visit the National Cemetery and The American Village! You won’t regret it!!!
