Remember the Fallen

It’s Memorial Day weekend here in the United States and I want to take this moment to wish you all a safe and blessed weekend!

However, not just this weekend, but every single day we should continue to remember the brave men and women who serve our proud country, for without them, we wouldn’t be as strong as we are. So, a brief moment in silence for the ones who have fallen during their time of duty. May they forever be remembered, respected and loved!

In honor of them, much love and light!

Also, this weekend there is a subtropical storm brewing in the Gulf of Mexico, Alberto, the first storm of the season. It’s heading north to the Gulf Coast area and is expected to make landfall late Monday or early Tuesday. According to the Weather Channel, “The main concern will be heavy rain over parts of Cuba, Florida, and the Southeast.”

My family and I live on the beautiful Gulf Coast in Alabama. Where we are, they project that we will get heavy rain, but as of right now the sun is shining high in the sky and we are going to make the best of the weekend. And I hope you all do the same! If you’re on the Gulf Coast as well, please be mindful of the impending weather and be safe!

Again, it’s Memorial Day weekend! Let’s remember and honor our courageous military who proudly served and sacrificed their lives for our country! Forever in our hearts will they remain!!
