Hi everyone! Hope you are all well. It has been a wonderful day so far. Transplanted this little beauty from a group of wild ferns that were growing outside our house.

Also, clipped pine straw from the yard to make mulch.

Doing things like this really make me feel more connected with Mother Nature. ❤️
The Earth is full of so many bountiful gifts!
Stay motivated and stay blessed! You all are amazing!!

One of my favourite things is growing things from seed. I have a tree we call the Avignon tree. We have no idea what it is, but I grew it from a seed I picked up in Avignon about 15 or so years ago. I also have some canna plants grown from seed from our plants. They were difficult as the seeds are like bullets. I failed the first time but some grew on the second try.
This year I’ve collected some seeds from another unknown tree in Amiens, France. They aren’t planted yet, though. And I’m collecting seeds from my basil plant as it’s now seeded.
I am, however, careful with what I plant as I don’t want to inadvertently plant some invasive species!
